Thank you. I think I was about your age when we moved to Portugal in 2008, with a view to giving more space to what felt like a burning desire/muse/entity within me, which wanted to express itself through me. I don't know why it took so long. Maybe I should have gone to art-school instead of doing engineering but my parents would have been aghast and I had zero confidence in myself as being any good at anything. Still, I am glad to be where I am at now - and hope to stay fit to enjoy much more of it. I think making 'a big move' in life opens up creative possibilities because one takes a risk and with that risk comes also a new perception of creative opportunities that otherwise might well be missed. (Sunday sermon over 😀)
I hear you 100% and thank you for your sermon! 😀 I do the same when I am passionate about something.
There is no moving people out of their comfort zone though eh. So many choose to stay stuck and complain about the mundanity of their lives. Yet I do think we have a choice. For me, despite finding my current situation challenging I definitely feel I am living a rich life and prefer this over long term comfort and mundanity. Remind me I said that!!
I am sure your engineering degree must have enabled your move. Making yoga straps doesn't necessarily guarantee a stable income to allow for international moves... ❤️
You're right. Too much comfort and life becomes boring. I believe everyone has a 'calling' and the calling (the inner genius) is always calling - calling us to bring something into the world. It doesn't have to be 'big' - just authentically ours to do.
Oh this is just gorgeous Josh. Sorry it took me a while to discover these creations.
The hammock, the yoga strap, the lunch! I want it all! You are so blimmin talented. ❤️
